snip final ZEGG 2.jpgWe are excited to share a video with you which we produced in cooperation with the Global Ecovillage Network.Ena lives since 2017 here and shares with you what touches her the most about ZEGG, what our communication tool Forum means to her and how it is as a community to be embedded in a bigger network. It's part of the campaign "Friends of GEN - Building the New Normal" which celebrates the many people and ecovillages seeded around the planet who are building their own “new normal” through the very lives they live. See for yourself!

More about Forum:We have developed a tool, called Forum, to grow personally and build trust among each other. When I step into the middle I let others be part of my emotions, struggles or celebrations. I have the opportunity to express for example my fears or insecurities. I cannot explore myself alone and my topics are more than personal - they are human topics.
Other community members will give feedback. This is to support one another in our greatest capacities because we need feedback to adjust and evolve. Before my life here, people would never point out my potential or blind spots.
Here, we try to meet each other with curiosity and find out what drives people to act in a certain way. This helps me to see beyond roles and opinions and judge less. We can talk about issues that are taboo in our society. We can address what bothers us with a loving intention. Through expressing ourselves deeply, we can let ourselves be touched by one another. In the Forum, we cultivate a state that is lived in everyday community life. This is the new normal I want to live in."
